A popular way to start your trip is by taking a boat ride or longtail boat along the moat surrounding the market. Additionally, there are places to rent traditional Thai costumes to wear for photos against the backdrop of wooden bridges, traditional Thai houses, or old pagodas around the market, giving you a great retro "O-Chao" (traditional Thai drama) feel.
