Khao Chong Krachok is a small mountain located behind the provincial courthouse.
It has 396 steps leading up to its summit, which stands at an elevation of 245 meters above sea level. The mountain is the site of Wat Khao Chong Krachok, where replicas of the Buddha's footprint and the Great Relic Pagoda were enshrined on June 12, 1958, by King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama IX). Additionally, a sacred Bodhi tree was planted during the celebration held annually on June 12th. To the north of the mountain, there is a hollow resembling a glass frame, which gives the mountain its name. From its summit, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the three bays around Prachuap Khiri Khan city: Ao Prachuap, Ao Manao, and Ao Noi, as well as numerous islands.
