Wat Sri Kom Kham or another name Wat Phra Chao Ton Luang, which is an ancient temple and is highly respected by the people of Phayao. The largest Buddha statue in Lanna Thai, Phra Chao Ong Luang, is known as the guardian Buddha of Phayao Province and the Lanna Kingdom.
Every May, there is a traditional ceremony to worship Phra Chao Ton Luang in the eighth lunar month.
