A medium sized waterfall, Pliew Waterfall is located in Pliew Waterfall National Park | Chanthaburi.
It has clear, cool water flowing all year round, amidst a lush forest. You can swim, so it is popular with tourists. There are a lot of Pluang fish living there, which amazes tourists.
A waterfall that King Rama V visited 12 times and ordered the construction of a pyramid of love.
At Namtok Phlio National Park, the moss-covered structure visible there is the Alongkorn Chedi (or Chulasirachumphot Chedi). It was commissioned by King Rama V in 1876 to commemorate a royal visit he made alongside Queen Sunandha Kumariratana.
The waterfall is teeming with a vast number of *Phluang* fish—so many that they seem to be the only species present. Locals say the fish are rarely eaten due to their strong, fishy odor. Additionally, the park sells long beans for tourists to feed them, which has led to a population explosion; the waters are absolutely packed with these fish. I am not sure if the situation remains the same today.
In any case, it is a truly impressive natural attraction.
