It is Unseen Thailand that you should not miss. Chaloem Phrakiat Phra Chom Klao Rachanuson Temple also known as "Wat Phrabat Pu Pha Daeng". Located in Chae Hom District, Lampang Province, about 10 hours from Bangkok (682 kilometers). This temple is located on the top of a hill that the locals call "Doi Pu Yak" in Doi Phra Bat Non-Hunting Area. There is a footprint of the Buddha enshrined and a pagoda on top of the hill is a distinctive identity that attracts tourists to visit.
Within the lower temple area, before going up the hill, is the location of the "Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phra Mongkut's Rachanuson with an ordination hall and a chedi. You can pay homage to the Buddha image inside the chapel that is modeled after the eternal Buddha. which is considered the Buddha image of King Rama IV. The ordination hall looks like a Lanna temple with a two-tiered roof.
Until in 2004, the Sangha decided to build Wat Chaloem Phrakiat Phra Chom Klao Rajachanusorn on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of King Mongkut, Rama IV.
