Phra Suphattharabophit, a large Buddha statue of Buriram Province, is enshrined on the top of the mountain, which is highly revered by local people.
Located on the top of Khao Kradong, there are 297 steps, which gives rise to the Khao Kradong traditional festival on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 5th month of every year, and to join in the merit-making of the Khao Thip-Tak Bat Theworohana competition.
