Wat Phra That Suea, Suea District | Chumphon Province

Wat Phra That Suea, which is known as one of the four sacred relics of the South, is a sacred object enshrined in this Chumphon tourist attraction, the Phra Borommathat, a bell-shaped pagoda decorated with elephant-shaped niches showing only the head and three front legs on each side. It is believed that the pagoda, which is over 700 years old, was built during the Ayutthaya period.
His Majesty led his army to rest at an abandoned temple in Suea District. There were white crows and other crows clinging to the pile of bricks. He ordered his soldiers to remove the bricks and found the base of a large pagoda with a casket containing the relics of the Lord Buddha buried in it. He then built a new pagoda and held a celebration for seven days and seven nights. How to get to Wat Phra Borommathat Suea
