Phraya Sriphuchong Mukdana Naga | Mukdahan
This is the largest marble-adorned Naga statue in Thailand. Standing 11.11 meters tall, 51.40 meters long, and with a total diameter of 1.50 meters, it stands prominently in Kaeng Kabao Public Park. The name of the statue, Phraya Si Phuchong Mukdahan Naga, means "the Naga who brings auspiciousness and prosperity to Mukdahan Province." This Naga is like the Earth Naga, one of three Naga statues in Mukdahan. It is believed that those who pay homage to the Naga and pass under its belly will be blessed with happiness and fulfillment of their wishes. The Naga's belly is curved into three arches. The first arch represents good health, the second arch beneath the Naga represents wealth, and the third arch represents success.
