Wat Bang Ka Phom is an ancient temple in the Ayutthaya period. According to legend, the builder was a wealthy family who got into a boat to take the family away from the enemy. When the Ayutthaya was lost, Wat Bang Kapom had a viharn that enshrined 4 replicas of the Buddha's footprints and had embossed murals.
