Tourist Attraction: Emerald Pool (Krabi)

Located in Khlong Thom District, within the Khao Pramong Wildlife Sanctuary, it originates from a warm spring in the lowland forests of southern Thailand. The highlight is that tourists can admire a large natural pool with an emerald green color and such clear water that you can clearly see the rocks at the bottom. There are also pavilions around the area for tourists to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Emerald Pool also includes a natural spring, the source of the Emerald Pool. It is a natural mineral spring with a bluish-green color. Due to the high mineral content, the water reflects light as seen. It is located in Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. It is a small natural pool with air bubbles constantly rising to the surface. It is believed that this is caused by water seeping from underground, ensuring that the area has water year-round and flows as a stream to various places.
Located in the Khao Pra-Bang Kram Wildlife Sanctuary, Khlong Thom District, Krabi Province, it is a natural pool with clear, emerald green water. Nestled amidst a lush tropical forest atmosphere.

Monday - Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
Saturday - Sunday: 08:00 – 17:00

Thai Citizens: Adults 30 THB / Children 10 THB
Foreigners: Adults 400 THB / Children 200 THB
Recommended Time: Arrive in the morning (08:30 – 10:00) to avoid crowds and tour groups. Open daily from 08:30 to 17:00.

Activities

Emerald Pool: A natural warm pool formed by hot springs flowing through limestone. The temperature is approximately 30-50 degrees Celsius, and swimming is permitted.
Blue Pool: Walk approximately 400-600 meters further upstream from the Emerald Pool to find the source pool with its bright turquoise color (swimming is not allowed).
Note: The Blue Pool is usually closed during May - October for the conservation of the Black-bellied Plover during its breeding season.
Nature Trails: There are two main trails to choose from:
Straight Trail (Dirt Path): Approximately 800 meters long.
Wooden/Concrete Bridge Trail (Nature Trail): Approximately 1.4 kilometers long, more scenic and shaded.
Preparation Recommendations:
Shoes: Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes as the pool edges are mossy and slippery.
Food and Drinks: Food and drinks (except water), including plastic bottles, are not allowed in the pool area. There will be a baggage drop-off point at the entrance.
Facilities: Restrooms and changing rooms are available near the entrance (please bring your own towel).
Nearby attractions: A trip can be combined with "Khlong Thom Hot Springs Waterfall," which is approximately 15-20 minutes away.
