The historic city of Songkhla is located northeast of Hat Yai, the largest city in southern Thailand. It is situated between the Gulf of Thailand and the large Songkhla Lake. With its historical significance, beautiful old town and unique street art, Songkhla has become a popular destination for Thai tourists.
It has a history and age of over 200 years, as can be seen from the old buildings, houses and structures in this old town. There are 3 important roads: Nakhon Nok Road, Nakhon Nai Road and Nang Ngam Road.
