Phra That Doi Tung, which is often observed on the top of the mountain in Wat Phra That Doi Tung, is a portable temple in Chiang Rai. Phra That Doi Tung has two golden pagodas on the roof.
The first pagoda in the Lanna Kingdom that King Achutarat brought the relics from India to enshrine in the pagoda of Ajahn Ba Chao Srivijaya. It has been renovated again. The new pagoda rises together with Phra That Doi Tung and the pagoda for the year of the pig.
