Phu Sing-Phu Pha Phueng Forest Park, Lao Phruan Subdistrict, Amnat Charoen
This is a natural attraction in Amnat Charoen. This area of sandstone mountains, approximately 200-300 meters high, covers several subdistricts. It has been developed into a recreational area, nature study, and camping site.
Interesting Highlights
Pha Chuen Warin: A beautiful viewpoint for watching the sunrise and sunset. There is a tent site for tourists who wish to spend the night amidst nature.
Lan Kwai Tu: Sandstone sculptures with unusual shapes, created by natural erosion.
Taphap Hin: A wide rocky area resembling a soft-shelled turtle.
Nature Trail: A nature trail and a dry dipterocarp forest.
Phu Sing and Phu Pha Phueng: Part of the Phu Phan mountain range, these rocky mountains are the source of Huai Si Tho.
