Phu Langka National Park Phu Mak, Phu Nom, Pha Chang Noi, Pong | Phayao


Covers an area of 31,250 rai spread across the Ban Phaeng and Na Thom districts of Nakhon Phanom and Bueng Khong Long district of Bueng Kan. The main geographical feature of this national park is the three peaks of Northern, Central, and Southern Phu Langka lining up alongside the Mekong River from north to south, the highest of the three reaching 563 metres above sea level. The park is covered with dry evergreen, mixed deciduous and dry dipterocarp forests which form the habitat for an abundance of wildlife as well being the sources of numerous waterfalls and streams. Along the trail that leads to Phu Lanka’s summit, you will find eclectic wild flowers, cascading water and fresh air. The most suitable time to visit the park is in the rainy season, from May to October.
